    Only used artemis as shields were too strong. I had enough luck for enemy rockets not to damage me too badly. I first went for few shots into teleporter. Next was the bridge to disable dodging. Once I got more confident I managed to set rocket room on fire and disable ballistic volleys.

    I was playing on easy. Boarders were teleporting into airlocks. Kinda helped. I only played to check if that's possible.

    After 1 week of failed runs at FTL, i finally reached the flagship of the rebellion, please wish me luck guys...

    1st edit: I reached the second phase aaand, it's the first time i do, i don't even know what to expect

    2nd edit: FKN DRONES, i was expecting anything but drones! I am still alive tho... probably i'll die in 10 seconds ;-;

    Final edit: as expected... i died, not even 20 seconds after i started the fight

    Hey guys

    Discovered this game last night, completely addicted straight away. Except...

    Absolutely nothing saves, save+exit does nothing :( even changing the game settings to full screen does not persist when I close and reopen the game. I'm just greeted with the language prompt and a blanked out continue button every time

    Has this happened to anyone else or is this a known bug? My windows 10 install (2004) is about as fresh and blank as it can be (installed like 3 days ago) so it seems a bit weird...

    Edit: to clarify this is Xbox game pass install, I feel like the game is having a permissions issue so it can't save back perhaps

    Mod that changes behavior of disabled teleporters back?

    When your teleporter gets disabled your teleported crew members are automatically transferred back to your ship. I want my crewmen to stay on the other ship while the teleporter has been disabled. And I also want enemy crew members to stay on my ship when I disable their teleport.

    I can't remember if it always has been that way? Whatever I don't like it. A quick search didn't bring any existing mods, does anybody know if a mod for this exist yet?

    Also is Nexusmods the best point to get mods or do you recommend another platform?

    Arsenal ship question

    If you don't know what Arsenal is, it's IMO a better version of the famous Captains Edition, if you're on a PC I recommend checking it out!

    There are a few of ships in the ship packs (mod adds like 100 ships or something with the ship packs) that seem pretty much suicidally hard for the first sector or so, is this intentional or am I just being an idiot and missing something?

    There are probably half a dozen ships out of that literally cannot do hull damage, and some struggle to do system damage which in the early game this basically means eating shit whenever you run into an autoscout that you can't board, burn or kill the crew on.

    You have to just sit there taking hits (maybe you can disable its weapons) until you can jump away.

    Some of them seem to be intended to rely on a 50 second cooldown arty system and you have to sit there eating hits until it can fire to get scrap to upgrade the arty system but now you need to spend that scrap on repair because you got shot to pieces while waiting for it to charge and if you jumped away eventually all the scrap you didn't get because you ran from fights catches up to you and you die horribly :(

    For more of them of them you can win fights but's done at like a couple hull damage inflicted per minute and takes such a tediously long amount of time that its demoralizing to die in sector 2 after spending 30 minutes getting there

    Here's one example of a ship I've died like 10 times in a row in the first few sectors trying to make work

    You get a single use shotgun anti personnel laser thing that breaches and hurts crew and then your arty beam fires a stunny breachy shot every few seconds that does some crew damage and you have your shitty hull missiles.

    It's cool as shit to have the rapid fire arty and all but fights are really slow and painful and I keep taking a fuckton of damage waiting for the enemy crew to die/the hull missile to kill their ship


    TL;DR: People who have played Arsenal do you have any tips and tricks for playing some of the less straightforward ships?
