My first victory with the stealth C! Posted: 18 Dec 2020 09:10 AM PST I managed to finally win with some extremely lucky RNG at the start. This was on hard mode btw. ​ I got an ion charger on my first jump and a chain laser right after that. Usually I'd just rush to get shields up but I decided that a more aggressive strategy might work out better. I immediately upgraded my weapons to 4 power to get the ion charger running with the charge laser and mini-beam. This set up carried me through the first sectors. Then instead of saving for shields, I bought a value point in drones that saved my ship a couple of times. I also got two free augments (including reconstructive teleport) which I was able to sell for so much cash that I got shields up in the second sector already. ​ All-in-all, I got extremely lucky. At one moment in the run I was brought down to 1 hp because I was struggling against boarders and missiles before I managed to find cloaking. ​ This ship is by far the hardest in my opinion. Weapons Setup Posted: 18 Dec 2020 08:55 AM PST Yesterday's game didn't go too hot, so I tried again today with a different setup. I am currently at the end of sector 5, and I have what I personally think are good weapons: dual lasers, breach II, ion stunner, flak I, and have just acquired a halberd beam.
