• At least with Giant Alien Spiders you know what you're getting into

Am I the only one who hate the Clone Bay ? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 12:59 AM PST I can't bring myself to play C ship because of them. It just doesn't feel right and look like a worst med bay. Slipstream Mod Manager erroring Posted: 02 Feb 2020 01:18 PM PST Hello, I want to install FTL mods after a while of not playing the game, I've done it before without any problems but this time when I try to patch any mod it always says this. Patching failed: java.lang.NullPointerException I've tried reinstalling the mod manager several times along with trying other mods. I don't know exactly whats going on. Need advice ! Posted: 02 Feb 2020 04:30 AM PST Hi. Im kinda new to the game, have won with all ships on Easy mode, and am now tackling on Hard. So far I've been able to get 4 wins (Kestrel B, Zoltan A, Slug C and Lanius B), but I feel like there are 2 advanced systems that I'm not very good at using : drones and TP. in my experience, using drones offensively is highly unviable and boarding/on-board drones are wayyyyyy too expensive, and besides having 1 defense I drone, I can't find any use to that system. The teleporter, however, is a whole nother animal : I KNOW how good it can be, but I can't seem to make it work with anything but Mantis boarders (Yes, I do mean that I have more trouble playing lanius or crystal on TP than Mantis). I would like advice on what I should upgrade, what's better between medbay / clonebay, which weapons are the best, which rooms I should target and how I should manage my crew (or anything really if you have any knowledge go ahead and share it) Thanks in advance ! submitted by /u/THSmoothie [link] [comments]

The Flagship had just fired up its heavy beam when I beat it and it jumped away. Meanwhile the beam went on to deal 6 points of damage as it slowly raked my ship.
