Disappointment Posted: 28 Jun 2020 08:15 AM PDT ​ Heartbreak My most promising Stealth A run turned into a massive disappointment. I was on track for Tactical Approach achievement until this fuckery. Additionally, I got the crystal crew member for the first time ever (I have like 200 some games played) in Sector 6 and was extremely excited that 7 was a Rock sector, until I realized that it had to be the Homeworlds specifically for the Cruiser unlock. I made it this far with only the Stealth A starting weapons -- the mini beam and basic laser; I did not find a single good weapon until the end of 7. I scraped by fairly well with these two + hacking 3 to take down shields, and came upon a BL2 and Heavy 1 at the end of 7. I stupidly traded my dual lasers instead of my mini beam for these two, so the loadout going into RFS was BL2, HL1, mini beam, aka only 4 shots. I got through Phase 1 just fine by hacking shields without taking more than 1 or 2 damage. Phase 2 screwed me though, specifically the flagship's defense drone. I couldn't get a hacking drone past it to take down the shield. So, since I only had 4 laser shots and the beam, the only way I could deal damage to the flagship was by having every shot hit it, then going in with the minibeam to hit pilot+shield. Needless to say, this is not a viable strategy. I don't know what the flagship's base evasion is, but in the ~15 volleys I got off before being destroyed, exactly 1 had 4/4 successful hits. I survived quite a while like this, but the combo of missiles+drone surge eventually did me in. All in all, very frustrating, but this game is way too much fun to stop playing. submitted by /u/PoopingRhino65 [link] [comments]

How can I have a separate save file to my brother? Posted: 28 Jun 2020 01:20 PM PDT So my brother has owned FTL on steam for a while and I bought it for myself recently. When I logged on though there was already progress made and it was identical to my brothers account. We tried on a different computer and it was different, but our accounta were still identical to each other on that computer.
