    Just wanted to say I Love This Game. Have played off and on Since 2013. Last night I finally got my last victory with Engi B. 7 years, 1k hours, on normal. Guess it’s time to start on Hard. Flak goes brrrr!

    But after reading up on the slug ship, I do believe this is a mistake. That thing is terrifying. Is it good? It sounds insanely good. I mean, being able to delete enemy crew, having the super efficient double laser, and the ability to safely breach your own hull? Like, what? How have I not gotten this ship yet?!

    A technical guide I'm writing

    Hey guys,

    Looks like there's nothing wrong with plugging this, so I will. I've been writing a guide for a while to attempt to consolidate a lot of stuff I've learned from other people's guides, and YouTube videos. I also wanted to throw a bit of my mindset when playing this game into it.

    The goal is to teach a mindset about thinking ahead, thinking in terms of scrap value, and to document a lot of the technical quirks of the game. Stuff like how enemy progression works, how rewards are generated, how events work, etc. are documented. Many tricks are documented, too.

    As the title of this post might suggest, the guide is very incomplete. I encourage any advanced or intermediate players to scrutinize the hell out of it. If you find something opinionated in the guide, question it and give me an alternate (but sound) line of thinking. If you find something that is blatantly wrong or missing, let me know. I also encourage those who are learning new things from this guide to point out things that they feel aren't clear.

    More importantly though, I just want to put this out here, and I hope that some of you find it to be a useful resource. Thanks!
