I'm starting to like boarding ships.
I’ve put hundreds of hours into FTL although I struggle to find many other games that capture the same feeling. Any game recommendations similar in nature to FTL?
Frustrating game, frustrating community
Came across an album on youtube that is quite similar sounding to FTL soundtrack. Thought you all would enjoy.

Frustrating game, frustrating community

Playing FTL (on easy) has been a lot of fun for me, with it's sense of adventure and discovery. The big letdown for me in particular is the final ship, which I have never defeated. On top of that, I see that when people express frustration, it looks like a large part of the community will dismiss their emotions completely, and brand them as idiots or people who just don't get what type of game FTL is supposed to be.

My particular gripe is with the final ship. I have beaten it once multiple times, and I have beaten it twice 1 or 2 times, but I have never gotten the 3rd victory where I ACTUALLY get to win the game.

EASY

I am getting to a point where I feel like, on easy, I have to look at guides for how to beat the final ship and actually get a win. I don't want to ruin that sense of adventure just yet, but the frustration I feel and how unfair I think the game is is pushing me in that direction. The game shouldn't be like this on easy.

IDK what the point of this post is. Fuck it.
