Which enemy weapon do you hate the most and why is it the leto missile?

Otherwise known as the cannon of torment. They're common, they fire before almost anything else and in sector 1 95% of the time your only defence is RNG. If you're unlucky, the only option might just be to embrace your ticket to oblivion via the most slow and frustrating route possible.

I just had a sector 1 scout not only immediately missile weapons, then engines - but EVERY missile caused a fire, until it ran out of ammo. Every single one! 100% track record!

It was the first beacon and simply too much BS for the human mind to bear without risking madness. A restart was in order... straight into another missile scout, first missile causes a fire in weapons! 11 fires in a row! Is that some kind of record?

I actually howled out loud from the mental agony. The pain was exquisite. Over the years, the leto missile has shown me a thousand shades of anguish.

Next time you slowly get whittled down in sector 1 by unavoidable fires and breaches, next time you feel like you might be driven insane by these shitty little exploding mosquito bites - know that everyone who has ever played FTL is right there with you.

    Basilisk love

My favourite ship by far and away. Two mantis, no weapons, fensebot. Over 70% of my runs are Basilisk runs. I usually name them Gnar and Kill, and construct narratives for them as characters. Right now, they're a mated couple who are old friends with Kazaaakplethkilik and are the stewards of his hidden ship.

I've got over 1000 hours in-game, and my winrate is about 6% on Normal runs. Love this game.

"Hard" mode isn't hard when RNG decides to bless you with everything.

    Putting the F in FTL

The one run I'm not buying anything but fuel or repair from stores, and I get this

I don't know if this is a blessing or a curse.

My fully decked out Osprey, the only ship I have managed to beat the campaign on...that too on easy.

My first game on hard, was ready to get humbled.. had one of my strongest games yet. Carnelian sure is OP!

Hi I just made a video about FTL. I would appreciate some feedback

In the end I asked both GOG and Steam to delete FTL from my libraries

I've not put in so many hours on any other game at all, never mind while not being in any way good at it.

Over ten days straight on Steam at least, all on easy, without beating the rebel mothership using every possible vessel.

It's certainly more-some, but I felt I'd not play anything else unless I went nuclear and requested a deletion.
