    [MULTIVERSE] Is the Monk Cruiser just Multiverse's Engi B?

    I got Zoltan A earlier and very quickly unlocked B and C. I already had Monk A and figured I'd try to unlock the ship that requires me to unlock all the Zoltan layouts and all the Monk layouts.

    Then I tried the Monk Cruiser A a few times. Playing it feels like pouring hot sauce directly onto my eyes and I hear B is even worse. For those unfamiliar, you have a Zoltan shield but no weapons. Just 4 Zoltan Monk crew who deal 0 damage in combat, an AP drone for repelling boarders that can be toggled between AP and Boarding mdoes at the start of each fight and an Ion intruder drone. Also, level 3 Mind Control, level 2 doors and 5 starting power. That's it. Multiverse lets you grab an extra weapon at the start, but it's always a basic laser that can't do anything against even 1 shield.

    I've been using the AP drone as a boarder with support from the mind control and asphyxiating enemy boarders if needed, but it's still just miserable to play. Am I missing something or is Monk A just really bad?

    Oh no the 3 turns rule !!!!

    I feel soooo frustrated.. Stealth C, rough start but somehow I manage to get a double vulcan and to max out all systems. I get to the flagship and oh he hacks my weapons system. Not a problem, I'll wait and jump away, and i'll come back and hopefully it'll hack something else. So I jump and.. Game over.. The flagship had been at the base for 2 turns already. I instantly liquefied. How frustrating.. First time I let it stay that much, it has to be with the strongest display i' ve ever had. Why isn't there a message warning you that you'll lose if you jump ?? Like the one that warns you about your crew still being on the enemy ship !

    What can I do now.. I'll start over with this piece of sh** ship..

    Glitch with backup battery?

    So I'm trying to unlock all the ships and I'm doing the lanius A right now.

    Every time I activate the backup battery is immediately acts as if it's been ioned and it says "locked by ion effect." Except I tested it after a battle so it's obviously not being hit.

    Is this a glitch? Has anyone had this happen? I tried looking it up and came up empty.

    Controls do the opposite of what they're supposed to do, help.

    So usually if I pressed the 1 key, I could aim where to shoot the weapon in the first slot. Same for every other related keybind. But now, if I press 1, the game takes the power out of the first weapon. I had gotten used to the first keybinds, and these are really annoying me now.

    Does anyone have an idea why this is happening?

    game stuck on loading screen?

    When I try to launch the game it opens up and plays the music, but once the little loading bar reaches the end it will be stuck there and nothing else will ever happen. I have tried verifying the integrity of the game files, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, uninstalling and reinstalling steam, typing "-directx" into the launch options, and running the game as administrator. none of these fixed the problem. Does anyone else have any suggestions, this has made it totally impossible for me to play the game.
