    Spoilers ahead. So I've gotten to the giant alien spider sector and saved the spider queen twice so far, but I still don't have the spider cruiser. Do I have to kill the queen to get it? Because I really don't want to. :(

    2. Oh wait they are all pretty crap. Oh well, better than nothing.

    8. 5/8 of my crew are now rescued rebels. I have a feeling this is going to end badly.

    16. Is it just me or do all of the ships have far more health? Weapons based crew kills seem much easier. Could also be that only 2 of my 4 weapons do damage.

    26. Loadout is now the chain energy, 2 particle beams, and burst laser 1. I can't power one of the beams yet but that is next priority. Keeping pierce laser in storage in case it doesn't work out. Also have hacking btw.
    27. Ran into the ship that tells you the history of the rebellion. Got concerned about all the pursuit doublings but committed and got the reward.
    28. EMP augment... Interesting. 1/3 enemy reactor power, for -5 power and -2 fuel... but I'm really low on fuel... If this works on the flagship this will be awesome!
    29. Goes to quest beacon for the rogue AI. Sees ship. On second thought let's not fight him. 25 health, a halberd beam among other things, and 4 shields. No thanks. If it was sector 2 I'd do it to find out what would happen but no thanks it's sector (what sector is it?)

    61. OH SHOOT I accidentally killed all of the crew but one and hes on like 2hp, if I kill him there's probably a drone mode, I guess double particle beams do have a downside.

    63. If phase 2 is like vanilla phase 2 I better switch my drone over to attack, it will be difficult to sneak my hacking through with their defense drones.

    90. Last shield popped and a bunch of beam drones from the surge are getting ready to fire. The flagship is AGAIN a husk but I cannot survive if I stay.
    91. Oh no there's nowhere to jump out to. All danger zones.
    92. There's a small chance the next shield bubble will regen before the beams fire but probably not. I'll take that chance as there are few other options. I will go down fighting for the glory of the Federation!

    Might have had a chance if I didn't run into that powerful ship before second round of phase 2, which took off 7 health before I could jump away.

    10/10 would recommend, go play multiverse of you haven't!

    I know this is a 10 or so year old game but I'm gonna bitch about it anyway!

    I have done probably hundreds of runs through FTL and I have beaten the final boss once. ONE TIME. It's not my lack of skill its the games lack of requiring skill. Its all luck. There is no "git gud" the learning curve is very small. You play for an hour and you'll know pretty much every detail save a few very specific things. Lets look at your typical random non-battle encounter. You get 3 choices.

    1. Take a 50/50 chance of something bad happening or getting a small reward.
    2. Just walk away/ignore. (and waste one of your jumps, you only get so many of per run so need to get something out of each one)
    3. [You happen to have [specific aug/weapon/crewmember] so here is a FREE REWARD!]

    Now tell me WHERE IS THE SKILL INVOLVED IN THAT? The only reason to ever choose option 2 is when you are critically low on hull or don't want to risk losing a crew member.

    Or you can be having a perfect run and then just get into a random encounter that perfectly screws you over.

    Asteroid field, shields hacked, engines get hit right away. Asteroids knock out weapons. LOL git gud next time! GUESS YOU JUST SUCCCCKKKK!
