- [Mod] Is there a way to automate internal drones again?
- Pre-igniter -> lack of weapons in stores? (vanilla)
- I know it's been said, but Defense Drones are bugged, and it's really pissing me off.
- Slipstream mod manager disappeared? I can no longer find it but the game is still modded. Am I looking in the wrong place. The only mods installed are hyperspace and federation dreadnought c.

Issues when going from Multiverse to Vanilla Posted: 11 Aug 2021 08:26 PM PDT I just downgraded my game from Multiverse to Vanilla. I don't know if there is a proper way to do this, but I read to uncheck all of the boxes in slipstream, then patch, then launch the game. I did this. However when I played (this round was in non AE), I encountered a few issues. First, the game was trying to load some of the stats that multiverse applies (It would say "Sell price: Not found" or something like that). This wasn't an issue. However, during the flagship fight, no crew spawned. The AI did not do repairs or lower oxygen levels. And the drone power surges did not spawn. Did I do my multiverse uninstall correctly? Posted: 11 Aug 2021 04:29 PM PDT Just started playing the big ol' Multiverse mod today, and I really love it so far ... with the exception of one problem. I know this may make me sound lazy. Which would make sense because I am very much just that. Anyway, the main point why I ever had ANY interest whatsoever in using internal drones (both defense and repair) was due to not having to micromanage them like normal crew (plus not having to care much if they die). Thus I find the Multiverse's change to force all of them to be manually-controlled only (and on top of that not adhere to the saved positions like real crew do) quite inconvenient. There wouldn't happen to be an option somewhere that lets me undo this change of the mod? [link] [comments] | ||

(vanilla) Posted: 11 Aug 2021 03:51 PM PDT Don't have a ton of hours, but anecdotally have noticed that in the games where I managed to snag a pre-igniter in the first 2-3 sectors, I couldn't find a single weapon drop or even a weapon to buy in stores afterward, through the end of the run. Both times it's left me critically underpowered (I did try to pivot to drones etc). I figured it could be RNG of course, but wondered if anyone else had similar experiences. [link] [comments] | ||
I know it's been said, but Defense Drones are bugged, and it's really pissing me off. Posted: 11 Aug 2021 03:28 PM PDT If you are running Basilisk B, a crucial part of that build in the early game is the defense drone, since you only have two crew members, and against most enemy ships, you NEED to have both of them in the fight in order to win. That means your ship is going to be at 0% dodge, and if the enemy ship has missiles, the defense drone NEEDS to shoot at least a good portion of them down. I have now watched my fucking drone miss 100% of the missile hits on the shield and drone systems for three goddamn games. This clearly breaks this build, and you have to just continuously restart the game until you get a sector 1 with a low number of missile equipped ships, and that's absolutely ridiculous.
