    After 15 hours I nearly beat the game with the Federation Cruiser. I had a marvelous boarding party (rock and mantis), and for things I couldn't board I'd just go full defense and wait till the artillery rips them apart. That is, until I accidentally blew up the enemy ship with the two on board, 7th sector I think. Luckily I soon replaced them with another himan and rock (already had a rock so the 2 rocks were my boarding team). So the final battle arrives. I find a shop that sells firebombs (rocks are immune to fire!!) and buy it immediately. Go after the flagshop and destroy it onl6for it to jump off. Not a problem, I barely took any damage. Next phase same thing, firebkmbs and rocks were rocking (no I'm not sorry). I have no idea what I did, but I wanted to kill off the crew (only 3 left) before I blow it up (had 4 hp bars left) and just as I teleport them the flagship warps explodes and warps away.... To add insult to injury my engine human just suffocated due to me not paying attention. I jump to the store next door (or star?) for some minor repairs and continue on my way. 5 members left, and the only way to the flagship is a narrow path that has been conquered by the flagship while fleeing, a path that couldn't be avoided since no other path from was leading to the base that I would get in time. So first battle I get boarded, have to flee, second one as well, same story, now I'm at the flagship, half my sistems down, the rest critical, oxygen at 50 percent, weapons offline, and the flagship sends more boarders, as if the prior 5 weren't enough that got carried with me. Oh, and did you know the flagship can now shoot plasma bolts out of its hull? Yeah I died. Now I know better than to get careless when everything is going smooth

    What are the odds ?

    I keep trying to do a rock save but it always ends in fatality because I miss 90% of the shots with the hull missile. Is that normal distribution or do they have triple evasion chance ?

    It's not something I made up in my head, it happened over DOZENS of shots. I'm extremely confused. Maybe my game is broken ?

    Advanced edition for beginners?

    I just started the game, played 2 or 3 times on easy (got trashed by flagship) , unlocked the Engli A abd Federatiom A (gonna try it out now), but I played classic version. Should I play the advanced edition? What should I pay attention to if I do so?
