How to break two shield layers with Engi B

Ok guys does anybody have a link to the youtube video or something about how to break two shield layers with the starting weapons on Engi B? I've played with this ship so many times and I've hardly ever run into this situation so early in the game... Usually I'll just duck out but this ship can't hurt me and I really wanna take this one down right now. I know I've seen a trick before about how you can pull off breaking two shield layers with the starting weapons and a leveled weapons guy but I just can't seem to find it. Done a ton of searching and I just can't find it, but I know it's out there somewhere...

[MOD] Need help installing the Arsenal Mod (English version)

Was really struggling to install the arsenal mod for FTL https://subsetgames.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29891 I downgraded my version and the Arsenal+ Base resources, I can't find an installation video anywhere on yt the loading screen shows Arsenal but no in-game content is added, other mods which rely on Hyperspace such as Multiverse run fine (not including the occasional crash) I've seen screenshots of other people who seem to run it fine (in-game screenshots and such but I can't find a clear installation video or instruction
