Me at the start of the game:
Okay, so this round I'll get at least one boarding drone, a hacking system and the hacking stun augment. And, when they get into the medbay, I'll turn it into a Nazi concentration camp (sry for crude humor). Oh, oh oh! And I'll need a crew teleporter too while I'm at it!

Actual endgame:
3x Burst Laser II, Cloaking

Would be nice to win with a niche strategy somehow, but I keep defaulting back to plain old pewpew.

As of recently I've been trying to 100% the game on Hard. While I haven't quite accomplished that yet, I would like to brag that I've at least just 100%ed the game! Plus I've done most of the stuff on hard. I'm just lacking victories on the suckier ships, some ship achievements, "Some people just like to watch ships burn", and 3 unlock quests.

So I just had to restart on Normal w/ Crystal B. This is because in Sector 7, I paused to teleport my boarding crew out in an asteroid field, which looked like everything was good to go when I unpaused. An asteroid hit within that 0.01 second before the teleport got off, and my crew went down with the ship. I was definitely going to win this one.

I have run into this several times since unlocking Crystal B just a couple of days ago - my crew dying, possibly due to my own fault - but in every situation a Clone Bay would have saved my ass. So would this be a necessary upgrade on this ship, or do I just need to keep playing and work on my timing?
