So I should try to get not just more crew but a variety of races?
Finally snagged my first hardmode win, thanks to the almighty power of hacking, flak 1, and BL2. This game's been an addiction of mine for years now, ty Subset for making such a unique and gripping video game!

I tried to work on a few tips recently and finally got my first successful playthrough (on easy...).

Doing better in terms of weapons and systems, I stayed alive long enough to expand the crew nicely and noticed my Engi crew man was giving me far more options in Engi space. Like coming across the two ships "bonding" and being told you can just avert your gaze please.

I take it that's across the board, with more options opening or at least ending better if you have one of all the different races on board?
