- Whoopsie
- Seriously tho y there be so many rebels
- Never seen this one before. Option #3 made me laugh a little bit.
- What do you get when you feed giant alien spiders corn?
- Blue Option Crew Events, Arranged by Species and Sector
- RNGesus loves me
- Had an amazing start with (in my opinion) the worst ship in the game. Sadly...they hacked my shields and managed to absolutely wreck me in phase one. RIP Glaive and Vulcan combo with Charge Laser 2 and Hull Laser backup and cloaking + 3 shields for defense. Pic taken in sector 2 or 3.
- Just got FTL, struggling on Normal, need Tips
- On getting all 28 hard victories, enjoy a guy failing to aim a mini beam for 3 minutes
- Why don't weapons, including those targeting your own ship, charge while the enemy ship is cloaked?
- Is it possible to get 4 crystal crew?
- (Update to prv post) Flak worked well, unusually low scrap though sadly
- Looking for a let's play to watch
- FTL Races figurines

Blue Option Crew Events, Arranged by Species and Sector Posted: 05 Jan 2020 03:31 PM PST Besides the obvious results, it's interesting to note that Slugs are practically tied with Rockmen in total number of options available, and that they are much more versatile with the possible filler events (which can occur on any sector if sector-specific events have run out, or on an exit beacon). Picking up a Lanius crew early in an Abandoned sector may provide a good return on investment, though that's most all they'll be useful for. Uncharted nebula have a surprising assortment of events, though you need at least two different crew for a chance at most of them. In general, the species with more powers and advantages have fewer event options, though it's debatable whether the faster mastery times for humans are a worthwhile tradeoff. [link] [comments]

Just got FTL, struggling on Normal, need Tips Posted: 05 Jan 2020 07:51 PM PST I have beaten on easy multiple times with engi ships now im doing normal with Kestrel A and not getting far. I'm looking for generally tips like: -In events where i dont have blue, is it still better to try my luck or ignore? -When should i get 3 shields or should i just go for engines? -Is cloak a must have to beat flagship? -If store has a 2-power beam weapon, should i get it or do i go for drone in sector 1/2? For Kestrel A. -is the long range radar and scrap recovery the best first items to get? I can get 100 scraps in sector 1 and maybe 120-150 in sector 2. What should i prioritize after getting 2 shields? [link] [comments]

Is it possible to get 4 crystal crew? Posted: 05 Jan 2020 08:04 AM PST I see Crystal B has 3. I doubt you can recruit them anywhere except maybe the secret sector which I believe is super hard to even find. Are they even recruitable there? [link] [comments]

Looking for a let's play to watch Posted: 05 Jan 2020 04:44 AM PST Hi, I've recently gotten back into FTL, and I'm looking for someone to watch on YouTube. Preferably looking for someone who knows the game and plays well. I've found a few on my own, but they play hard no pause. Hard mode is fine, but I'd like to see how someone playing well utilising pause goes, while explaining things here and there. Is there anyone that fits this bill? Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 05 Jan 2020 11:09 AM PST I was looking at my little Lanius piloting The Vortex and was reminded of Battle Beasts, toys from the '80s. I think it would be fun to have the FTL races as little figurines similar to Battle Beasts. I would like that more than the little toy ships currently available from the FTL official store. A little Lanius figure sitting on the shelf would be mega-cute. But I'd get the whole set of course, all 8 races. [link] [comments] |
