- All hell broke loose on board in the end, but I was so confident in this run, I had sold a Glaive beam found floating in space for a sweet Chain Vulcan... it could only end in victory.
- That's possibly the hardest challenge run I did
- I just lost 2 engi at once to a single missile. Even worse, I lost another crew member to a random event in the previous system.

- Any help with my ship?
- Is there a good guide for hacking? I don't think I'm using it to it's potential
- Should I replace a weapon with a fire beam? (Slug C)

Posted: 06 May 2020 11:08 AM PDT So I was using Superluminal, which is a custom ship maker for FTL. I exported the ship without double checking it, and noticed that it had replaced the kestrel instead of the bulwark. Oh well, I thought. I went back into Superluminal to load the ship to change the errors, and it wouldn't let me since it had changed the ship to a .ftl file instead of the .shp it needed. Does anyone here know how to change the file? thx. [link] [comments] | ||

I managed to find a few weapons, currently the ones I'm using are 2 ion chargers, a chain laser, and an anti-bio beam. Should I replace any of these for a fire beam? [link] [comments] | ||
Dual Halberd support without Hacking Posted: 06 May 2020 08:42 AM PDT I now have two Halberd Beams and Weapon Pre-Igniter on my Kestrel A. Was planning for 8 Power Weapon System anyway, so I want to support those bad boys for alpha striking. I'm not against hacking per se, but I don't have it yet and I also have Drone Control with Defense 1, so I must conserve parts when possible. With that in mind - which weapons can compliment this loadout better? Two Ion Bombs? Ion Bomb and Ion Blast 1? [link] [comments] |
