I literally have gotten rock ship C and am just flying that into the game. I don't go for the cheat of renaming the guy as that was patched however I know you can go to the hidden sector as long as you have the crystal crew which u can get with rock C. Yet I've only had rock homeworlds on the 3rd of over 15 runs into their now. And didn't get the event cos lucky me.

I did some looking into it after run 5, rock homeworlds spawn after sector 5 in the game. This means that I need red in those areas or I fail. I've gone through on average 2-3 red sector options yet everytime I'm denied the rock homeworlds. Is there something I'm missing? Some secret I'm not aware of the wiki doesn't mention.

I absolutely love this game. And I absolutely hate some parts of it, but I guess that's what makes it so special. I've spent more than 500 hours on it, first on easy, unlocking ships and achievements one after the other spending hours discovering the many many aspects of the game. A few minutes ago, I completed my medium campaign in which the main idea was to beat the game with every ship, from the best ranked to the worst, following this ranking : https://sullla.com/FTL/ftltierlist.html I had fun with most of the ships, adapting my play style to the perilous situations I had to encounter. The last ship I played was not the worst : Zoltan C. The zoltan shield is a lovely augment that saved my ass many times. No the most horrible ship was the one right before : the Federation B. But when I finally had a winning setup, boy was it a blast !

Anyway, time to move to something else now, i'll wait a few months or even years before opening this book again, this time on a harder chapter.

Oh and thank you guys, from the deep of my heart, for making this community as fun and helpful as it is. I can't count the number of times I hopped in here looking for an advice or just admiring the skills you can show at the game.
