Smaller ship: less chance of hack? Posted: 13 Jun 2021 03:44 PM PDT Engi C with Def 1 drone just shot down every hack drone from the flagship. i think 10 were sent. I've never seen that before. There's more space around the Engi C than most ships. Does this indeed help Def Drone 1? [link] [comments]
Trying to install Hyperspace on GNU/Linux, game crash after loading screen Posted: 14 Jun 2021 03:01 AM PDT Hey there y'all! I heard about about hyperspace and multiverse mods and wanted to try them but can't get them working. I downloaded the 1.6.9 from GOG(bought the game on Steam), copied the files from the folder of the hyperspace mod that have to be copied in the game install folder, then patched the hyperspace.ftl to the game using the Unix version of SMM, added the hyperspace.dll and xinput1_4.dll and set them at windows native, launching the game after that is an instant crash, after adding -opengl as argument the loading screen appears but it crash right after. FTL crash log last entry is something from Wine, but I tried different Wine version(Lutris, proton GE) with no difference ... Am on Fedora 34, everything else working fine, including the game itself before doing the modding part of course ... Any idea how to make it work? [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 Jun 2021 12:20 PM PDT I first started playing FTL way back in 2012… probably logged about 20 hours and then trailed off. Picked up again when the iPad version launched in 2014 and flew with it, I've played it consistently since and logged at least 2000 hours. I feel like the interface is soooo at home on a touch screen, it's unbelievable. I'm getting super jealous of everyone playing multiverse and am considering buying a laptop solely for the purpose of playing it (my everyday Mac won't run mods). Has anyone played either vanilla FTL, or preferably multiverse on a touch screen laptop? How does it fare? Usable, or do you just end up back on keyboard and mouse controls? All answers and comments welcome 🙏🏼 [link] [comments]
