My talented girlfriend drew this awesome Kestrel for me.
Them rebels got some high level cloaking!
Struggled all the way to sector 8 only to die to the first ship I encountered :(
Any lore for the different ship layouts?
Trying to get the Living off the Land achievement, ended up stuck like this. Am I just screwed now?
Music like Space Cruise
I have discovered the horrors of being horrible unprepared and having no shields against the flagship... I don't like it
It took me about 20 failures and insane RNG but, I beat the flagship with Engie-b on hard mode. I also got 3 free random halberd beams along the way that I didn't use, lol.

Any lore for the different ship layouts?

Is there any in game lore about the different ship layouts. Obviously the different Kestrel cruisers look like different factions took over the ship, but what about the others? Does the game provide any info on them, because there is none that I am aware of. I'd also love to hear anyone's own thoughts or hypotheses if they have any, especially if the game doesn't provide any answers.
