Super blast doors

I'm flying the Shirvan and finally got doors installed on Sector 4 or 5. I notice "Super Blast Doors" is shown, price is shown as "--" which is curious. Anyone know what super doors do? I notice this ship has no external doors at the moment.

All my ships are gone? D: Help!

I have been away from FTL for a while and in the last few weeks picked it back up again. I was about halfway through unlocking all the ships (Had A,B&C on Human, Engi, Federation, Mantis, Slug, and Zoltan. I had just A on Rock, Stealth and Lanius) now the only ships showing available are A&B Human and Engi and B level Zoltan. Anyone have any idea why my ships are gone? The accomplishments related to those ships that are locked are also gone. I share the file with my husband so I don't mind starting again, cause then I get unlock those but he's pretty bummed that he lost all his stuff. Any idea on what could cause it or how to get it back?

Clone bay for Crystal B?

Without considering cost to buy clone bay, is it really good for Crystal B?

I cleared all ships in hard mode so I think I have enough skills to control crews not to die and already know all of the crew risk events.

I've read discussions about comparing medbay and clone bay but most people says that clone bay is better for boarding ships.

My question is that does clone bay better than medbay even though I know all the risky events? (I can just skip them)

Especially Crystal crew has lock down skill and more hp. So for me medbay is far better than clone bay.

What do you think?
