    1) 3 flak I + pike beam 2) 2 flak I + BL II + pike beam

    Time in ftl

    I wanted to know if there is any way to know how long does ftl take lorewise in term of time.

    Stuff like a battle, getting to the last stand, one ftl jump ect...

    how do i beat the game

    i got to the final stage and beat the huge flagship but then the game kept going and i fought another one and died, how many huge ships do i have to destroy? ;-;

    edit: i just won i'm not even joking final battle my ship had 1 hp left and the other one had like half and i managed to pull through wth how do i skip the credits help

    Jammiest Weapon Combinations

    No screenshots, but yesterday I played in the Stealth B and through sheer luck manage to get a weapon preigniter almost straight away. The Glaive Beam pretty much instantly won me every battle in the first two sectors. Got a Flak MK2.

    Weapon Preigniter + Glaive Beam + Flak Mk2 made possibly the easiest run I've ever had. One of the few times I've not had to rely on a teleporter for the flag ship.

    What are the most fortunate weapon combinations you've had (considering how much luck plays a part in coming across specific weapons)?

    Glaive, Flak 1, and Hull beam: should I sell Hull/Flak for Burst Laser 2?

    Hello all,

    I'm a long time player, and win on hard regularly. However, for once I am not sure of what to do in terms of weapons. This is the final shop I will see in sector 7, and they have a Burst Laser 2 for sale. I currently have, as stated in the title: Glaive, Flak 1, and Hull Beam. I'm unsure if I should replace either Flak 1 or Hull Beam for the Burst Laser 2.

    Here are some screenshots of my ship. This is stealth B, so I only have 3 weapon slots, otherwise I'd just buy the burst laser 2 and keep everything. I have 167 scrap right now, level 3 shields, level 5 engines, battery, cloaking 2, and hacking 2 (I will for sure be upgrading this to hacking 3). Also have the standard oxygen 2 for flagship, and if I have any extra scrap after MORE IMPORTANT system upgrades, would get pilot level 2 just in case of some damage (this is by far at the bottom of the list of upgrades, and probably will only happen if I have 20 leftover scrap and am unlikely to get enough for any other upgrades).

    Anyway, I know pictures are easier to see and understand, so here they are:

    Shop Inventory (the second page of shop is 3 useless augments for flagship: FTL recharge, Adv. FTL, and repair arm)

    Right now, I am leaning towards keeping my weapons, and upgrading systems. I for sure need level 3 hacking to help ensure the glaive beam works best as possible.

    Now, if I can, I will upgrade my weapons systems 2x more so that I can use the hull beam alongside the flak 1 while the glaive and hacking is on cooldown, and I think this might be the best option instead of swapping something for the burst laser 2, because even if I GET the BL2, I would still either need 2 more weapon system upgrades, or, be using flak 1 and BL2 while the glaive is powered down (not ideal in my opinion, but hey, someone else might disagree).

    Just wanted anyone's input on this. Again, leaning towards keeping what I have, and upgrading systems, but if anyone has any input I'll definitely take it into consideration! I probably wont decide what to do for a few hours, so whatever I hear before then, I greatly appreciate it.

    Does anyone else think the weaponry on the flagship is…. Suboptimal?

    The triple ion is ok, the beam weapon is meh. The triple missle launcher is badass. And is the laser weapon a burst laserIII I can't remember.

    If I was them I would have just given it four burst laser IIs.

    What do you think?

    Is this a corrupted save?

    I just had roughly 70% of my ships disappear. I've gone from all As save crystal to only the Kestrel, Cruiser and Zoltan, and from most Bs to the Red-tail, Engi B (that's right, no Engi A but I do have Engi B), the Cruiser B and the Zoltan B. What the fuck?
