Lanius B - Hacking or not? Posted: 09 Aug 2020 03:50 PM PDT I'm playing Lanius B for the first time. I didn't play Lanius/Crystal ships on Normal - this is on Hard, also going for Loss of Cabin Pressure. What's the opinion on Hacking for this ship? On one hand, being able to lock down a room with O2-draining Lanius boarders is clearly nuts. On the other hand, not having Drones or Cloaking seems to make the RFS pretty dicey. But I guess if you blow the RFS missiles then you could just camp your Lanius in the missile room and keep it from coming back up? If I weren't going for Loss of Cabin Pressure, I'd be more inclined towards Hacking. But random missile hits are going to be tough to repair in a vacuum with minimal crew. It's a trash game, designed to make you susceptible to computer thinking. Don't lose your humanity, put the game down. This game is just a convoluted If/Then statement.
