Do you pronounce Zoltan zol-tan or zol-tin?
Luckily beat Phase 2 for the first time with this setup, got a full heal because Hull Repair is a godsend, and then lost to phase 3 because of mind control. Also no i could not get any better guns, that is LITERALLY all the game gave me

I wrote this put just as a heads up for now. r/FanFiction is doing an end of the year contest for fanfics made during 2020. I'm happy to say that both Look at Me (short story on cloning bay morality) and Last Remains (the romance story currently being published weekly) were nominated!

Look at Me was nominated in "Family/Friendship" and "Drama/Angst/Tragedy"

Last Remains was nominated for both "Romance" and "Smut"

Voting starts the night of the 20th, and anyone with a reddit account can participate. I would appreciate if the community could help me out by voting for me. The fanfiction subreddit is full of writers from multiple fandoms, with the big ones usually being widespread. It would be for FTL fanfic to win their respective categories. The fandom could get attention if the stories won. I've gotten a handful of people to buy the game after reading "Look at Me". Imagine people coming across the game and buying it! Especially since the voting period will happen right as the steam sale is happening. Who can resist a $2.50 game?

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, or what to make an informed decision, here are the story links.

Look at Me is a story that deals with a member of the crew dying and becoming a clone. His friends stop talking to him, and he resolves to fix their relationships before their ship gets destroyed from their incompetence.

Last Remains is a story about the Kestrel Engineer, whose DNA houses the vital Federation data, getting kidnapped by Rebels as they mount their final attack on the Federation capital. But after over a year of the (now promoted) Rebel Flagship Captain chasing the Kestrel crew, attraction has been building up between him and the Engineer...
