| Multiverse Wandering Trader Bossfight Posted: 23 Feb 2021 05:38 PM PST Hi all, im really struggling to beat the trader. I either get wiped out by his weapons or shredded by his boarding. Flak and missiles are useless because his drones and popping 8 shield layers with lasers is a nightmare. Best i can think off is ion blast IV and the one time i get it in the obsidian cruiser his beacon gets overrun the jump i get there :/ is there any style of loadout or ship i should try to unlock that could win? According to the ship unlock in the hanger you need to get him to surrender to get his ship so any advice would be great 🙏 [link] [comments] | ||

I recently got back into ftl and got the mod 'Decent into Darkness', but the main one has a brocken fleet tracker, and the reworked version has a big problem about not being able to hire new crew mates. | Winning conditions with The Kestrel Cruiser? Posted: 23 Feb 2021 09:42 AM PST What's up guys. I started playing this game 2 days ago, and I must say, I'm totally hooked now and can't stop playing. Send help. On a more serious note, maybe some veterans can help me with some tips. I've been trying to beat the game on normal. I only got to the boss one time, died on the second phase. Thing is, I don't really know what the winning conditions are with the Kestrel. The problem I face is that as soon as ships with 3 shield start appearing, it becomes really hard to deal damage. Also ships with 2 shield and drones cause a lot of problems. It's just that it seems upgrading the weapon system requires LOTS of scrap. And in normal difficulty it feels like you never really get that much, unless you try the boarding and killing crew members strategy. The only things I tried from the shop are the drone system and the teleporter. I never had enough for the cloaking system. [link] [comments] |
