    Just made a full run with stealth A ship trying to get that "evade X damage points within a single cloak turn" and tried to do so many times with the final boss (when it fires a large volley of green lasers), entering cloak after having it shoot them... and it didnt trigger.

    I dont know what am doing wrong, and im clueless about how to achieve the "destroy a ship within a single cloak use" since i havent got any big guns to do so...

    Does the drone room have special power in FS P2

    Phase 2 of the flagship, I notice taking out the drone room seems to reduce the drone swarm a bit. Is that correct? I think maybe it reduces the time the swarm is active.

    You might remember that back in early 2020, there was a discord server that rivaled the first one. It failed, and eventually died.

    This was due to the incompetence of the owner, who doomed the server with multiple mistakes he's since learnt from.

    For a long time after this death the consensus was that with the Multiverse server having surpassed the original FTL discord in size a new server for vanilla wasn't needed.

    This consensus has recently changed. A conclusion was drawn, one that stated that vanilla mustn't be neglected and left to the grasps of a discord server that refuses to change, adapt and improve, even when its members explicitly wanted it to.

    There will be no further elaboration on what the server has done in specifics, however the main flaws of the original are as follows:

    - The refusal of said moderator team to do anything to change the server for the better, even with explicit requests from the members and even top-level players.

    - The unjust silencing which the moderator team applies on anyone who isn't content with the state of the server. (the most explicit example of this being the ban of the biggest mod creator in the community alongside his friend for blatantly false reasons)

    In conclusion you can clearly see the need for a better server, which we have tried - and failed - to provide back in 2020.

    We've however learnt from our mistakes, and are confident in our ability to provide a great environment for any FTL enthusiast.

    [Multiverse] PSA: The Spectral Capital Does NOT Exist

    I have dedicated ~3 months worth of my time (as in one, sometimes two, runs per day) searching for the sector and finally have to come to the conclusion that the sector is a LIE. It simply does not exist. For additional context, a while back, I actually inquired about the supposed nature of the sector, believing it had to be accessed by special means. As of the moment that I asked this question, I had already put in about a month and half of effort of looking for the place.

    Everything was chill back then. During the first month of searching for the Spectral Capital, I was also searching for other unlocks, too, so I wasn't exclusively looking. By month two of searching, I had completed the rest of the quest-based unlocks, hunting for the Capital was all that was left. All I had to do was search for nebulas, and I did it very casually, just continuing my personal quest to get a win with every single ship in the game. At the end of month two, my patience was beginning to wane, not just with the quest to find the Spectral Capital but with FTL in general, too, so I took a break for a while.

    And so I came back about a month ago. The third month. I decided to step up my game and downright grind for the sector. I checked the files to see when it spawns: Sector 5. So declared that if I didn't see any nebulas at that point or beyond, I would immediately drop the run and restart no matter how good Sector 1 was. A bit of a footnote to this third month, I finally updated the game to its latest patch. I hadn't experienced the new-ish Hektar sector yet. I downright owned those unlocks. I remember it vividly, the Angel cruisers were unlocked on run two of the new update. On run three, I unlocked the Hektar cruisers. I remember it so vividly because ever since then, it's seemed to difficult to ever get in there, I'm realizing that I was very lucky.

    Now I'm at the end of this third month. Downright losing MY GOD-DAMN MIND WITH RAGE that I still have not even SEEN the so-called Spectral Capital after THREE MONTHS WITH THIS QUESTLINE ON MY MIND. If I had just managed to ENTER the sector by now and and gotten screwed over by missing the quest beacon or accidentally choosing the wrong option in the questline, I would be nowhere near filled with this much genuine anger right now. I've fucking had enough of seeing Vagabland and Slog sectors, for the the love of the Reaper, give me the Spectral Capital.

    FTL Multiverse - easy identification of ship victories?

    Hey, the completionist within me cries, because there doesn't seem to be an easy way to see which ships you've already won with in the hangar. Am i missing something?

    btw. - just loving Multiverse. It's insane <3 . 300 hours in FTL (won all ships in FTL without mods) and now i'm hooked again thanks to multiverse

    Ok So I'm new to FTL, I have been having a blast playing it.... unfortunately I have also been getting blasted every time I try to fight the flagship. I feel like I am steadily improving at this game. But I cant seem to make it past the flagships second form. Can anyone give me some advice I feel like I'm making a fool of myself right now.
