    Rebels "about to gain control" = control?

    I always wonder if I'm missing something here. Is there ever a situation where a beacon that rebels are "about to gain control" of is any different than a beacon that's already fully controlled? You fight elites with ASB support either way, right?

    I was having fun tearing up the enemy ship, then I got cocky and lost a crew, and went from 29 to 1HP. Now I have to resort to unorthodox strategy, and it's working out so far. I have to fear missiles though. This happened at sector 1 btw. Godspeed.

    I don't really see an upside. The Rebel Fleet is forewarned of the nebulae, so they aren't slowed down (there's even an in-game tooltip saying so). All in all, nebula sectors seem like an inconvenience more than anything.

    I'm absolutely addicted to the soundtrack albums, with Ben's amazing tracks. I can't get them out of my head, and I can't stop listening. The main title theme and Lanius (explore) from the advanced edition are the biggest gems imo.

    Does anyone know where I can get more? Is there even a genre that fits this music? I can imagine some of you would know more about that.

    ... played with advanced edition content enabled - despite owning the game on two different platforms for years. For some reason I keep convincing myself that I want to complete every ship and every type available in standard edition but keep losing my save as I change platform. I've just started again from zero for the first time in a couple of years. So far I've just had victory with the Engi B (after some brutal RNG losses in the first sector) and am about the start on the federation cruiser. Am I mad for playing it this way?
