    A weird thing about clone bays

    So I encountered an "Intruders Onboard" event next to a sun. Two Rockmen boarded my ship, and my crew were fighting them. When they were close to dead I jumped away to avoid additional solar flares.

    The next ship I encountered had a clone bay, and after the Rockmen died they were revived in the enemy clone bay! Must have been really surprising for them to be saved from death by total strangers.

    No o2 in unneeded rooms.

    Probably I just discovered something that everybody do already, but I just thought in that:

    I found that if I keep the empty rooms without o2 I prevent a lot of fires and I am very protected against boarders.

    So I wanted to share.

    Please help me out by voting for my FTL stories for a contest!

    Hello all!

    I've been writing stories for FTL since May. One was a short story on how using the cloning bay could affect the social dynamics and emotions of the crew. Another is currently being published and is a romance story between Rebel and Federation soldier as the war finally comes to a head in Sector 8.

    Both of these stories got nominated for r/FanFiction's end of the year awards in 2 categories each (so 4 in total).

    I wanted to ask y'all if you'd vote for me on the google form. It'd really help bring attention to me and the community as a whole. The winners and their stories get displayed for the entire month of January, so it'd be good exposure. And, with the steam sale going on right now, it could incentivize people to give a shot. Who could say no to a $2.50 game ~~and my charm~~? I've gotten a handful of people into the game from my writing/just from me talking about it. FTL is such a fun game and, yes, its heyday is long past, but that doesn't mean the community can't be active. And it certainly doesn't mean I won't try to keep it going. I've gotten so much out of the game!

    There are multiple categories, but I'm only in 4 (but please feel free to vote in other categories if you want).

    I haven't bought a single thing from this store. It's sector 2 and the only augments I have are Zoltan Shield and Long Ranged Scanners. This is the first time in almost 300 hours I've come across a store like that, is this a bug?
