    I know I'm preaching to the choir, but I absolutely hate the Engi B. If I were specifically trying to make the absolute worst possible FTl ship, it would be an unmodified Engi B but with a teleporter, just to rub it in your face.

    It's not bad enough that you start out with only a single crewman. No. You also have to get two slow-charging weapons that need babysitting to break through a single layer of shields, and are absolutely useless once you encounter something with a decent evasion or two shield layers. All while starting with terrible evasion, a single layer of shields, and a couple of brainless repair drones, so even though you'll struggle to land a blow, your opponent will leisurely blow holes through all of your core systems while the drones valiantly labor to repair the doors.

    And to make matters worse, you don't start with sensors. Why would you want sensors? It's so much more fun to have multiple hull breaches and fires of which you are blissfully unaware until you, say, need a functioning Medbay, and find that it's been converted into swiss cheese.

    To add insult to injury, I swear whenever I play the Engi B, it takes me two or three sectors to find a store that sells decent weapons and crew. When I do find such a store, I usually can't afford to buy anything, because I have to spend all my money patching damage, since I have neither offense nor defense. The game is out to get me.

    Not looking for any advice or tips. Just wanted to commiserate.

    I think the game has recognised my achievements. Just got my fourth flagship win in a row and unlocked 3 ships at once. Wtf?

    Inquiry on how to fan-localize FTL

    Hey guys, as you can tell from my profile name, I translate stuff. Mostly from English to Korean and vice versa.

    I have contacted Isla S. from Subset games and was told to go to the FTL subreddit to get information on how to take on this translation project!

    I also plan on doing it for the Into the Breach!

    So, the only tool that I have in my belt is my translating ability, and was wondering if you guys can give me pointers on the programming/modding side of things!

    Wasted holy trinity

    I stumbled upon the holy trinity very early game but I didn't have enough scrap to use the three of them, obviously. I somehow managed to get to sector 6, even got cloaking. But then.. I found a flak II in a shop, was too happy to buy it, bye bye flak I, terrible terrible mistake. It's the holy trinity for god's sake, not the super holy trinity. From then on, everything went haywire, goodbye ideal run, welcome frustration. Ah yes, Federation A, normal..
