- Most OP hard run so far. 4-tile teleporter (Mantis B) with all maxed out mantis, hacking, clone bay with reconstructive teleport, dream weapon system.. And then RNG gives me even more. And it's not even sector 8 yet!

| Posted: 05 Mar 2021 12:38 AM PST Play Mantis A with the aim of boarding a lot Get gifted Mantis at every opportunity 7 Mantis plus 1 Engi Not a single death despite not having clone bay Get a few boarding achievements Also get dual Flak I's just for show Get to flagship Successfully kill all artillery guys except for the laser one Time to kill the other guys now Realizes I forgot to bring anything to take down medbay Realizes my small bomb won't take out medbay Tries to use flak to bring down shields, then throw everything at medaby Weapons are hacked, can't spam to take down medbay No problem, just keep flakking/small bombing shields then hacking until its down so I can attack medbay without interruption That won't work, I can only partially take down hacking before they repair it Changes focus to getting lucky flak shots Realizes that due to my attack on hacking, enemy hacking and cloaking have perfectly synced up so that cloak will prevent weapons charging, and then later on right as my weapons are getting to full, hacking goes off draining my weapons to zero This is an infinite loop I have soft locked myself out of being able to fire my weapons or deal any damage at all Boarding is futile despite my 7 mantises because they have a medbay I can't jump away and come back because I already did that once because the first time they hacked my teleporter, leaving too little time Opens all doors and leaves whole crew to die in a fit of rage [link] [comments] | ||
